 We have been raising dogs for 15 yrs now on a unique 100 acres. It is rolling hills that have dry land, irrigated land, a live, year round stream and 3 large ponds. Most of our acreage is dedicated to upland birds.

We raise Labrador Retrievers (they point, but are not reg APLA) and English Pointers. Our Labradors have been a work in progress. We started out with bigger labs, but they just could not last all day. We acquired our first pointing lab from a Pheasants Forever banquet! That was the best thing we ever did! He (Bow Hunters Whiskey Dream) had the stamina to chukar hunt, the strength to swim the Snake, and the personality to have around our young kids and keep in the house!

We then acquired a puppy out of Treiven Twist and Shout, Treiven kennels. They were a great match. She brought in the small size and more endurance. From then on we have bred medium labs that will keep up with our English pointers, but still have strength to swim the Snake. Yes they point, flush and retrieve. We currently have puppies from Hunters Star with a Twist/Hunters Smokin Rowdy. 6 males. They will be ready towards the end of Feb.

Our English pointers are a combo of field trial and foot dog lines. They will go as far as you let them, but not uncontrollably high-strung so they can be loving pets. The matron is still in the house after 11 yrs!! They all have the natural ability to retrieve for you.

Puppies: All puppies this year will go for $500. A $100 deposit will secure the puppy in order that the deposits come. They have shots, dewclaws removed and wormed before they are let go. They come with a hip guarantee. We always try to match customer to puppy. Planned spring breeding with Hunters Wantin Mo/Hunters Additional Power. This will be the only English Pointer Breeding until the end of the year.
